Sun Salutations. Love them or not, they are a core component of every vinyasa yoga class. Surya Namaskar A and B form the backbone of most flows, and yet we often breeze through them as an afterthought. Let's get mindful about our Suns! In this workshop Jen will break down each component of both Sun Salutation A and B.
We'll begin the workshop with a short flow, including both Sun As and Sun Bs to warm up the body. Then we'll break down the elements of each salutation, including breathwork, pose alignment, what you should feel in your body, transitions, and modifications for all levels. After two hours with Jen, you'll know how to flow through your vinyasa with safety and confidence! We'll close class with another short flow to put into practice all that we've learned and salute our growth.
